I Kings 20:28 is where Elder Meeks begins with his message on “The Valleys in Our Lives”. Solomon 2:1 “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” Download Audio File or Listen:
Today’s sermon begins with Psalm 119:18. As the Psalmist David, our prayer should be for God to open our eyes.
Elder Meeks begins in Proverbs 23:23 as he teaches “Buy the Truth, and Sell It Not”. Brother Nathan’s first point is that there IS an absolute truth.
The Bible uses the word better, more than 115 times. Elder Meeks teaches on two of the uses from Ecclesiastes 7:1, A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.
In this message, Bro. Nathan looks to Galatians 1:4-5. There Paul gives us the objective of Christ’s death, the manner in which his objective was accomplished, the reason why Christ died, and the proper response to Christ’s death.
Today’s message brings a lesson from two of Jesus’s parables. “The Parable of the Talents”, Mathew 25:14, and “The Parable of the Pounds”, Luke 19:11. While there are many similarities between these two, they are two different parables.
