Pastor Nathan Meeks: Aug 12, 2018
Elder Meeks begins his message on “Pride” by reminding us of a familiar proverb: “Pride goeth before destruction…”. (Prov 16:18)
“ I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7 tells us that God makes peace and evil. But what does this mean? Listen in as Brother Nathan expounds on this subject.
Elder Meeks teaches on “The Red Heifer as a Type of Christ“, as recorded in the 19th Chapter of Numbers. One similarity is the “sprinkling” of the blood. When referring to the verses about the “ashes”, he asks, “Do you feel deserving or undeserving of what Jesus did for you?”
This mornings sermon comes from Luke 2:1-20.
The final message of the Indiana Fellowship Meeting is brought by Elder James Allen. Brother James begins by looking at John 10:1.
“The Power of Unbelief” This mornings sermon begins with Matthew 17:14-21.
In Colossians 3:15 we are instructed, “…be ye thankful”. Elder Meeks begins there as he looks at “The Unthankfulness of Men.” In II Timothy 3: 5 the “unthankful” are included in a list of those “from such turn away”. Download Audio File or Listen:
