“Obtaining Wisdom in This Life” This morning Brother Nathan brings a message from Proverbs 30:24-28.
Elder Meeks answers the question, “What would GOD have us to ‘esteem’?” He begins with Luke 16: 15, “… that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God”. First, and foremost, GOD would have us to esteem Him above ALL else!
In Colossians 3:15 we are instructed, “…be ye thankful”. Elder Meeks begins there as he looks at “The Unthankfulness of Men.” In II Timothy 3: 5 the “unthankful” are included in a list of those “from such turn away”. Download Audio File or Listen:
“A Song of Degrees” This mornings sermon comes from Psalm 130.
Elder Meeks begins in I Thessalonians 1:3 after he asks the question, “Does Faith Save Us Eternally?” Among other things, we learn that faith is an “evidence”– it does not change reality or circumstances, but does point to the truth. Download Audio File or Listen:
