“Jesus is Better Than the Angels” — Friday afternoon, June 28th, 2019
“Being Conformed to Christ” This morning, Brother Nathan brings a message from the book of Romans on conforming to Christ. We begin with Romans 8:28.
Elder Meeks brings a message on giving thanks to God for all things. We begin with 2 Corinthians 4:15.
Today’s message brings a lesson from two of Jesus’s parables. “The Parable of the Talents”, Mathew 25:14, and “The Parable of the Pounds”, Luke 19:11. While there are many similarities between these two, they are two different parables.
Todays message comes from Ecclesiastes chapter 3. Verse 8 tells us that there is a time to love, and a time to hate. Elder Meeks takes a more indepth look at when is there a time to hate.
Elder Meeks teaches on “The Red Heifer as a Type of Christ“, as recorded in the 19th Chapter of Numbers. One similarity is the “sprinkling” of the blood. When referring to the verses about the “ashes”, he asks, “Do you feel deserving or undeserving of what Jesus did for you?”
Elder Meeks begins in Psalm 2:7 as he looks at “The Eternal Sonship of Jesus Christ.” Download Audio FileĀ or Listen:
